Colourful texture tutorial.

By the end of this tutorial your blank black image will be somthing like this :

ONE. Firstly you need to open up a new image (making sure it's RGB colour), the size doesn't matter but the bigger it is the better it comes out, I normaly use a 1000px x 750px, then you will need to fill this new image with black.

TWO. Using the marquee rectangular tool, make a rectangle in the left hand corner, make it about quater of the size of the full image.
Now using the brush tool set your brush to Whatever size you wish and 0% hardness, and make different coloured spots like this :

THREE. Still making sure it's selected, go to Filter >> Pixelate >> Mosaic... And set the Cell size to 30. It should look like this :

FOUR. Now you need to deselect the selection (CTRL+D)
Now go to Filter >> Blur >> Motion blur and set the setting to Angle : -51 and Distance : 430 It should look like this :

If it's a little small go to layer >> new >> Layer from background... and click ok.
Then go to Edit >> Transform >> Scale and drag the bottom right hand corner while press shift to resize it then press enter.

FIVE. Now create a new layer, and repeat steps 2 to 4 with different colours and from the left instead of the right also change the Angle or the Motion blur 51.
So it ends up like this :

SIX. You might want to fix it up a little bit my useing the Black brush tool around the edges
Then Merge the layers all together and duplicate it and set it to screen at 70%.

SEVEN. Now create a new layer, then use the marquee rectangular tool and set the feather to 30 px and click and drag to make your selection. Then where your colour palett is make them a light and dark colour but not black and white.
Then go to Filter >> Render >> Clouds and set that layer to Screen.

SIX. Then Create another new layer and repeat step 7 but make it a different size and colour.
Then your done! Your texture should look something like this :
