From :To :
ONE. First things first, you'll need to find you image, one with a white background aways works best.
This is the image I'm going to use :
TWO. You need to firstly crop your image using to cropping tool which looks something like this :
Site your setting to something like this:
Then click and drag on your image, then when your finished press enter and your done! This is what mine looks like :
THREE. Now to add some colouring.
Firstly, go to Layers >> Ajustment layer >> Selective colouring. and set your settings to something like this :
Red
Cyan : +30
Magenta : -22
Yellow : -11
Black : +12
Yellows
Cyan : +19
Magenta : +9
Yellow : -22
Black : +1
Cyans
Cyan : +22
Magenta : -17
Yellow : -7
Black : +10
Magentas
Cyan : +29
Magenta : +16
Yellow : -11
Black : 0
Neutrals
Cyan : +45
Magenta : +12
Yellow : -13
Black : -13
Heres what my icon looks like now :
Now, add another bit of colouring.
go to Layers >> Ajustment layer >> Hue/saturation. and set your setting to something like this:
Saturation : +27
Your icon should look like this :
FOUR. Now to add your texture!
Copy and paste this texture from here over your icon :
Set it too Hard light at 100%
If it's a little to big for your icon, Go to Edit >> Trasform >> Scale and while holding shift, click on one of the corners and resize. Move it around to whatever position looks best.
If some of the texture is overlapping your person in your icon, just the eraser tool at Size:9px. Hardness:100% and simply erase the texture part which is overlapping.
FIVE. Now your done!
