Confessed.
New layout (Named by Jack Crute). It’s been over a month since I changed it and it’s been over a week since I’ve blogged and over a year since I opened this domain. Things change. Looks change. Skill improves. Friends are made. Friends are lost. And people just became less active as things get in the way. I’m not trying to say that this is the end and I’m going to close this down, it’s just that I’m so inactive and when I look back I was so active and really into all this. But now, I’ve changed and I don’t be as active and into this as I used to. I still want to carry on with web design and graphic design as it is good experience for my future. However, I don’t know what to do with this site. I know at least 80% of my visitors come for my content, therefore if I was to delete any of my content, My hits would possibly go down allot. I’m quite tempted to add a portfolio, showing off my works and creations out of boredom. I have allot of layouts I’ve made in a past that I never put up as they were too hard to work with or just wouldn’t look right. But I keep saying I’m going to do a portfolio but I never even got started on it or I just never could be bothered to do it as I didn’t even know where to start.
I’ve confessed. OK? I’ve been honest. I just want some guide lines from my visitors. I get over 100 unique visits a day, I have no idea where they come from but out of these 100+ visitors I hear nothing from them. They just come and go like a passing train. I hate it really. I’m not asking for their comment on my blog, I’m just asking for a little say in what they want. I just feel like silent ghosts are my visitors.
The changes I do want to do to my domain include : revamping the domain page (lets be honest, it really does need a good old sort out), rewrite Sophie page, add extra pages to the Sophie page, hopefully start a portfolio, add a few more tutorials, add some content, have a weekly blog thing and some over stuff that will come to me.
With blogging, I do hope to blog more often then I currently am, I’m thinking of doing a weekly thing like my wish week that I had during December. I’ve thought of a recommend type blog where I would recommend anything from anime to manga to novels to movies to sites to twitters to youtubers to any old random thing. Do you think that’s a good idea? Thumbs up or thumbs down?

The recommendation blog sounds like an awesome idea. So do the updates. I am really looking forward to them.

you probably have some patience with your site.
to be honest, i’d be re-starting my site with a new domain by now if i was feeling like that.
but anyways, i’m one of those who come here for the blog but sometimes, your content is worth looking or even using sometimes for me.

You should definitely add a portfolio though.
I really know what you mean. When I got soooo busy during the winter/springish time I was thinking of closing my site, but I knew I would kind of miss doing this stuff.. I come to your site to read your blog and sometimes for tutorials.

I would love to see a recommendation blog! And all of your designs are fantastic, so a portfolio should definitely be added here. Often times I find myself coming to your site to get inspired. =) So good luck with everything!

Heh, I am a silent visitor. I love your content. Lately, I have been looking for premade coding though…hmmm? That and more CSS/HTML tips. Ill try not to be so silent anymore.
