Explanation

I thought I would give an explanation on what is going on right now site wise. Since I believe you deserve an explanation.

As you may be fully aware of, eselle.org is down and it has been for 2 weeks. Why? The stupid nameservers fault, that’s why. Ok, long story short, Kelsey is the one who brought my domain, since I came 2nd in her contest. She brought the domain from someone who gave her a cheap price, when Kelsey contacted them so they could change the nameserver it took them a while to reply, after a days and days of waiting they replied to kelsey notifying her that the place she brought the domains under, got ripped off by their registrar; so they’re working on a solution. If they don’t fix the problem, they’ve promised to give her money back or register another domain for her. Therefore, if worst really does come to worst, I’ll have to get another new domain, meaning I’ll have to think up a new name >< or I’ll just have to keep this one.

I’m sorry guys. I was really excited to get this new site under way, but then this messed it up.

Sophie Boo, you should really just keep http://oh-vintage.co.uk, i really like that domain! It has so much potential, and I think suits your personality, – that sounds like im calling you vintage, but I know what I mean ;)

Any way, whatever happens hope you continue you with the great designs, your only getting better!

    Hi :)

It sucks about the nameserver :( Domains can be a blessing but at the same time they can be such bitches. -_- I hope you get to keep this domain :)

    Take care! xx

Bleh, I’m sorry about the nameserver problems you’re having =/ Those nameservers always seem to be screwing SOMEONE over XD lmao!

I really do hope you guys are able to figure it out, or have already figured it out? I’m sure getting a new domain, after you have just gotten this one, would be a big hassle -___-”

I’d never buy a domain from anyone other than namecheap/godaddy!
    I think you should keep oh-vintage. Everyone knows Sophie @ oh-vintage <3
and then you should just use the money to renew this one :D x

I heard that FirstHosting or something, who were selling domains for cheap, had this problem. They lost a large number of domains. I’m guessing you got caught up in that. It sucks, especially since you were really excited to get your new site up and running.

Not sure if you’re a fan of .me domains, but they’re on sale at NameCheap.com, and eselle.me is available. It does cost a lot to renew them, but who knows, you could still scrape up $22 in a year, I think. :)

Aww. I think you really should keep oh-vintage.co.uk :)
    It’s a pretty good site :)

Goodluck, whatever may happen, just keep it up :)

Same happened to me. Came first in a domain competition at dinokill.com and he got it for cheap at firsthosting and firsthosting is claiming that they got scammed, therefore over 60 to 100 domains have been deleted and they won’t put them back up.

I don’t know if I’ve been to either domain before but I really love this domain name. I hope you can get your other one back though. That really sucks! Good luck!

This is probably a bad time to bring this up, but I didn’t know of any other way to contact you…

How do you do that criss-cross effect in the background? Is it a pattern you made yourself or got somewhere?
